Summer 2006
Here are some great examples of
backyard entertaining at its best. The project on the left was in Bohemia, NY.
We ripped out an older backyard green, added a chipping pad and a bunker for
this poolside attraction.
The green to the right wraps around the homeowner’s hot tub/bar unit. We met the
client at the Home and Garden show in February. His daughter had recently taken
up golf and was excited to think she could practice her short game at home. We
got it in just in time for her graduation party.
Spring is in full swing and summer’s
on the way. We’ve been busy installing custom greens across Long Island. Here
are a few of our favorites.
New York Custom Putting Greens would like to
thank everyone we had the privilege speaking with during the Golf Expo. We had a
great time running the putting contest and were very happy to hand out the
Custom Musty Putters. Those were definitely a hit. Many thanks to WBAB the event
promoters. We're looking forward to next years event!

New York Custom Putting Greens has been asked,
as a last minute replacement, to host the putting contest at this year’s Long
Island Golf Expo. NYCPG will have their show
green set up at the entrance to the show and will run the putting contest all
weekend long, March 17-19.
Prizes range from a full set of Nike Clubs, to custom hand made putters from
Musty and more! Long Island’s own “Putting Doctor’” Joe Bermal (www.theputtingdoctor.com)
will be on hand to run the contest and give some sage putting advice.

NEW YORK CUSTOM PUTTING GREENS KICKS OFF THE 2006
SEASON
AT THE LONG ISLAND HOME AND GARDEN SHOW
This past weekend marked the official start of the 2006 season with
NYCPG's participation in the Long Island
Home and Garden Show.
The show which took place at the Suffolk Community College Brentwood Campus was
a huge success with over 20,000 people attending over the three day event.
New York Custom Putting Greens had their
display green up for all who wanted to test their putting prowess. Thank you to
all who stopped by our booth to learn more about our products. Thank you also to
everyone who signed up for our mailing list in order to be entered into our
raffle. NYCPG raffled off a 150 sq ft
putting green to the lucky winner, Larry Refvik of St. James. Check back to the
